Participants will also discuss their unique legal and ethical dilemmas from their professional experience. - Application & Summary: Participants will be able to apply informed best-practice legal and ethical principles to use in their everyday therapeutic work. In this continuing education workshop, we will address the unique legal and ethical challenges being faced by Utah mental health professionals. This program will provide participants with exposure to real-world dilemmas, with engaging discussion regarding principles for problem recognition, definition, exploration, and decision-making. Through this program, participants will have a better understanding of how to effectively anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve legal and ethical concerns in their professional work.
